In an interview with the Chief Press Officer of INTERNATIONAL SERVICE CHECK, Tobias Kurzmaier, Mr Christie sketches his experiences of the past year and defines the aims of INTERNATIONAL SERVICE CHECK UK for the future.

Tobias Kurzmaier: Michael, before you have started with INTERNATIONAL SERVICE CHECK what was your occupation?

Michael Christie: Twelve years experience in the mystery shopping industry and video mystery shopping is a specialty. I was one of the first to conduct video checks in the UK and was featured in the media in 1996 or this. Prior to this I have worked in law enforcement both operationally and training in the UK and the USA. I am committed to improving the service that is received by the consumer and my work ethic is that ISC UK provides a level and quality of service that I would expect to receive if I were the client. I like to build a strong rapport with my clients and offer old fashioned values regarding service and commitment to our responsibilities.

Tobias Kurzmaier: How would you describe the time between your start with ISC in UK one year before and now in one sentence?

Michael Christie: Since INTERNATIONAL SERVICE CHECK entered into the United Kingdom Mystery Shopping market in February 2007 with a dedicated presence, we have succeeded in making a very positive impact into an already crowded sector.

Tobias Kurzmaier: What makes ISC so attractive for the clients?

Michael Christie: From the onset, we have attracted clients that appreciate a new, vibrant, pro-active approach to mystery shopping.

Tobias Kurzmaier: Which customers could INTERNATIONAL SERVICE CHECK gain in its first year in UK?

Tobias Kurzmaier: How would you name the root idea on that the work of INTERNATIONAL SERVICE CHECK based?

Michael Christie: We pride ourselves on supplying a service that we would expect to receive if we were our clients and value the relationships we build with all that are associated with INTERNATIONAL SERVICE CHECK. What counts is what the customers see! My goal is to build the ISC business in the UK and so when customers think of mystery shopping, they immediately think of ISC - "Think mystery shopping - think ISC!"
