Comedian to Host Get Fierce 2008 in San Antonio

Estrada recently hosted the 19th Annual South Florida GLAAD Media Awards (Bravo) and has performed the role of emcee for some of the most prestigious beauty pageants in the world including the Miss Universe Organization and the Miss America Scholarship Program. He will appear as a celebrity judge for the upcoming Miss Latina World Pageant. His is the recipient of the numerous awards from the beauty pageant industry including the 2000 Spirit Award from Pageantry Magazine for his outstanding dedication of the pageant and modeling industry. He is also the face of the 2008 designer humor line of bilingual greeting cards “Jade Esteban Estrada for Nos Vemos Greetings.”
His television credits include “The Graham Norton Effect” (Comedy Central), “Friday Night Lights,” “30 Rock” (NBC) and his music has been heard on the Golden Globe and Emmy award-winning police drama “The Shield” (FOX). He is also the host of the upcoming documentary “Chasing Down an Idol” and appears in the upcoming book “Holy Headshots! A Celebration of America’s Undiscovered Talent” by Patrick Borelli and Douglas Gorenstein (Simon and Schuster).
Katie Schardl of the Tallahassee Democrat calls him “effervescent.” The Advocate calls him “exquisite.”
Estrada plays a diabolical assassin in the upcoming sci-fi film “The Innocent Killers” directed by Brett Mauser.
