New organic limoncello from Bio Manufaktur Spitz is awarded the Silver Medal

The new organic limoncello from Bio Manufaktur Spitz has impressed the independent DLG tasters and was awarded the silver medal at this year's DLG "International Spirits Tasting".
"Our new organic limoncello has 20% alcohol by volume. It tastes very aromatic like lemons. It smells seductively lemony as soon as you open the bottle. When we make it, it often smells fruity and fresh in our production facility for days. It's like a summer vacation in Limone on Lake Garda," says Heinz Spitz.
The new organic limoncello is made from selected organic lemons. The lemon peels are soaked in pure alcohol to extract the essential oils and aromas. The secret of Spitz's organic limoncello is its balanced sweetness, fine acidity and the interplay of fruitiness and the aromatic flavors of the lemon peel. To achieve this, Spitz's organic limoncello is refined and perfected in an elaborate process.
A real treat on ice, as a digestif, as a refreshing long drink with tonic water or with sparkling wine and ice as a refreshing Sp(r)itzz.
To preserve the full aroma, Bio Manufaktur Spitz has bottled the organic limoncello unfiltered in 500ml and 100ml bottles.
"It is very popular with our customers and many people who have already tried it buy it again and again. That speaks for its quality," says Silvia Kretz, Sales Manager at Bio Manufaktur Spitz.
