Vettelscho?, November 2025 - Bio Manufaktur Spitz is launching _Wintersonne_, a new organic orange liqueur. The handmade specialty contains 20 percent organic orange juice, fine winter spices and is made vegan. The liqueur is now available in a new, elegantly shaped 500 ml bottle.

What initially sounds like a classic fruit liqueur, surprises with a special composition: _Wintersonne_ combines fruity freshness with the warming depth of typical winter spices. The alcohol content is 16% - deliberately mild to bring the taste of the ingredients to the fore.

A liqueur that invites conscious enjoyment

With _Wintersonne_, Bio Manufaktur Spitz is responding to a trend that has been evident on the market for years: High-quality spirits with a clear taste profile and natural ingredients are becoming increasingly important. People aged between 30 and 70 in particular value authenticity, artisanal processing and a responsible approach to alcohol.

"We are experiencing a real return to the essentials," says Heinz Spitz, owner of the manufactory. "Our customers are not looking for a quick effect, but honest products that suit special moments."

Whether as an accompaniment to a cozy evening, as a little break after work or as a stylish souvenir - _Wintersonne_ is versatile. The taste is round and harmonious: fruity orange notes, accompanied by a subtle spiciness reminiscent of cinnamon, vanilla, cardamom and clove.

Natural ingredients and careful production

At the heart of the new liqueur is the high proportion of organic orange juice. It gives the product an intense fruity note and a velvety mouthfeel. No artificial flavors or colorings are used. When selecting the other ingredients, the focus is also on quality and origin.

"Our aim was to develop a liqueur that doesn't need any frills and yet still delights," explains Silvia Kretz, Sales Manager at Spitz. "Especially in winter, many people want to enjoy more consciously - Wintersonne offers a real alternative."

The new bottle underlines this claim: slim and slightly conical, it has a modern and high-quality look. The banderole label with subtle illustrations makes for an elegant appearance.

Regionally produced, available throughout Germany

_Wintersonne_ is produced in the Bio Manufaktur Spitz's own production facility in Vettelscho?, Rhineland-Palatinate, in the heart of the Rhine-Westerwald Nature Park. Spirits have been produced there for years in a sustainable manner and in small batches.
