GOVECS is official supplier at X Games Munich

GOVECS GmbH, Germany’s leading supplier of innovative electric scooters, is the official supplier of sustainable mobility at the X Games Munich. The company will provide several electric scooters for the event that will allow the organizing committee as well as athletes to cover vast distances around the extended area on the site of the 1972 Olympic Games. Between June 27th and 30th, the vehicles will support this international mega event, which for the first time will take place at the Isar metropolis (http://www.xgames-munich.com/). The first series of the legendary action sport spectacle occurred in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil and in Barcelona. The series of events will be culminated with the event in Los Angeles.

Created by the American television channel ESPN, the X Games are the biggest and most significant action sports event on the planet. During the summer X Games matches over 200 international athletes from the fields of Skateboard, BMX, Moto X and the X Games world premiere Mountain Bike Slopestyle. In Munich more than 100,000 visitors are expected. In addition to the athletic events, international music acts are offered as part of the X Festival Munich. The festival area is accessible free of charge to all visitors. The “mixed-area” combines interactive districts, music stage, film, culture, information and will become the “hot-spot” for the local action-sport-scene.

There will be a big test track setup in the heart of the Olympic and the X Games where a huge fleet of GOVECS electric scooters will allow visitors to feel true electric mobility.

The exclusively branded X Games Munich scooter will be auctioned for a 100% charitable purpose at www.unitedcharity.de. Almost all 200 athletes will put their signature on this scooter.
