PMMMNMTT Banasthali Centre National Workshop on Acdemic Writing: 3Ms
It is an undisputed fact that teacher occupies a central place in the entire educational system of any country disseminating ideas and thoughts which allow a culture to survive and sustain. Academic writing features a serious tone and is often demonstrative of particular theories and facts related to a given argument since it serves as communication tool for conveying acquired knowledge in a specific field of study.Academic writing enhances learning development and is also useful for assessing course comprehension. It is the mode of presentation of academic papers. The four main types of academic writing are descriptive, analytical, persuasive and critical. It is believed that what is written for mass public is by and large non academic writing while academic writing is clear, precise, concise, focussed, structured and backed up by evidence.
