The pictures from the children of Mavue were handed over on Wednesday September 15th 2011 to the children from the Brigádníků Elementary School in Prague 10. The handing over took place in front of the School Director Mgr. Alena Polanská, representatives of the School Parliament – K.Lišková and M.Horváth, Director of GTP Gabriela Dihelová and the Development Program Coordinator Dana Neumanová.

The poachers are indiscriminately killing mainly elephants and other protected species by using sharp metal loops, direct fire and also by strychnine diluted in water. The Helping Africa Charity Drive, which is being organized by the Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park and the Community Development Program, is mainly providing the collection of material gifts for the residents of Africa. One of the sponsors, the Elementary school Brigádníků in Prague, has decided to express its solidarity in another way. The school management has sent the African children 51 paintings, which were painted by Czech students.

The Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park in Mozambique keeps on improving its services. Currently the park managers, or in other words rangers have 100 uniforms at their disposal. These were made by the BLACKHAWK! Company, which delivers its goods to armies and special op units around the world.
