Great Gorilla Run will start on May 28th already with the support Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park

A press conference regarding the Great Gorilla Run took place on Thursday May 12th, 2011. This charity project focused on saving the gorillas in the wild will start yet another season on May 28th, 2011 at 2 PM at the Prague Castle. The Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park in Mozambique has actively become involved in the Great Gorilla Run project. As a general partner of the project it provides a valuable prize – an exclusive seven day stay for two in the wilderness of the Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park, Mozambique

The event helping to save the gorillas in Africa is organized by the Prague City along with the Prague ZOO and a number of other partners. The Director of the Prague ZOO Miroslav Bobek informed of the project at the press conference along with the Deputy of Prague Mayor Ivan Kubický, Michal Horáček of the Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park and also other representatives of the project organizers.

Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park is a general partner of this charity event and it provides a one of a kind prize to the Great Gorilla Run – a seven day vacation for two people at the Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park full of overwhelming adventures and travels in the untouched wild.

The Great Gorilla Run is a one of a kind charity event, which focuses on saving the gorillas in the wild. This event takes place internationally since 2003 already. This year’s Prague run will be on Saturday May 28th, 2011 at 14:00. Hundreds, possibly thousands of people will run from the Prague Castle all the way to the Old Town Square in gorilla masks or without. The event with a festive African style accompanying program is organized by the Prague City along with the Prague Zoo and with the support of the Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park. All of the proceeds from entry fees will be donated to the support of gorillas in Africa.
