Tramincorp helps the residents of Mozambique through the “Community Development Program”

Development of new elementary schools and water reservoirs was started in Mozambique, Africa in April of 2011 as part of the “Gonarezhou Community Development Program” project. The individual projects will be realized for the residents living on land that is part of the Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park. The main objectives of this program helping to develop the community in the area are to provide the residents a quality water supply, help all the children obtain an elementary education and overall improve the living conditions of the local residents.

Tramincorp, an African mining company supports this development project mainly in the form of financial resources. This support made possible the development of the new elementary school in Mauve and also helped to construct a water reservoir. The actual construction is performed by specialists and workers from Europe with active cooperation coming from Mozambican experts and local residents. The preparatory earthworks were started in April of this year.
