Two new LORENTZ solar parks in Spain

LORENTZ has managed to upvalue its position in the Spanish solar market. The company supplies solar tracking systems for two middle-sized solar parks, once near the city of Badajoz in the region of Extremadura, 1.1MWp in size, the other near Cambil in Andalusia, sized 2.1MWp. The park in Badajoz is equipped with 520 units ETATRACK active 1500SP. It has taken up operation in two subsequent phases in July and October 2007.

LORENTZ delivers 750 tracking systems

LORENTZ delivers 750 tracking systems for an 8-hectar solar park in Oberruesselsbach close to Nuremberg in Southern Germany. LORENTZ successfully introduces ETATRACK tracking system to South Korea

In Kwang Yang a 100 kWp solar park has been connected to the grid LORENTZ newest park is located in the South of South Korea (ca. 35° N). It con-sists of 44 ETATRACK active 1500 track-ing units, each equipped with twelve Sanyo 190Wp HIP solar modules. The total size of the park is 100kWp. ETATRACK active 1500 with its ex-tremely robust design and medium-sized module surface is especially suitable for the

Not afraid of the winter with LORENTZ tracking systems

Since the recent enormous snow falls in Bavaria this February many operators of solar installations wonder how much weight the mounting of their modules can safely endure. Extreme weather conditions like these might be occur more often in the near future. Snow weights of up to 250 kg/m2 are a severe test for solar tracking systems in particular. A sensor-guided solar tracker might drive into horizontal "sleeping" position when its sensor
