Dazzling Performances at Banasthali Innovocation Wings - The Fifth Chronicle

Banasthali team Innovacation organized its annual techno-cultural fest, Wings - The Fifth Chronicle from 19- 21 February 2018, jam packed with fun and knowledge.

The fest commenced with a lecture on Entrepreneurship by Ms. Sukriti Sachar where she discussed how ideas need proper implementation to become startups. The lecture was followed by the literature based oratory event, Melange. Passing the various test of proficiency, Suchita Mantri (English) and Rupali Tripathi (Hindi) proved their worth. The day terminated with the personality pageant, Miss Wings. The contestants showcased their talents and answered various questions based on their personality. Shivangi Sharma stole the crown.

The next day brimmed with various branch-specific and fun events. Maths, CS/IT, CE/BT and Electronics event were a great hit amongst the crowd. The starlight being the fun events like- Bee-witched, Fantastic Fanatics, Tic-Tech-Toe, Shape of You, Pratibimb got special praise as well.

The final day was kick-started by alumnus of BITS Pilani alumnus Mr. Ashish Jog presently General Manager and Whole-time Director at Aluminum Global Major RUSAL delivering a lecture on Astronomy. It was an enriching experience for not only the students but faculty as well. Last but not the least came the cultural night, Rangmanch. It was filled with spectacular performances ranging from dance to poetry.

Two day workshops on Solar Panel and Augmented Reality, organized by Wingfotech, and one day workshop on Pottery, also received great reviews. The highlight still remained the stalls namely, Cafe 48, Mafix, Kazal Footwear etc. The fest ended on a good note leaving the audience wanting more.

The students and faculty who participated in Innovocation Wings the Fifth Chronicle at Banasthali indeed left with beaming faces and pride that they were part of an institution which is a jewel in the crown among the women’s universities not only in India today but across the globe,
