Press release from: TeleMental Health Institute Inc.

16 February, 2018, San Diego, CA. Telebehavioral Health Institute (TBHI) is pleased to announce its strategic partnership with the New Hampshire Psychological Association (NHPA) to bring telemental and telebehavioral to its members. This large group of professionals can enjoy the many benefits of learning and networking through TBHI, an online learning institute devoted to the education and training of professionals wishing to develop the legal, ethical and clinical skills related to working with technology in telebehavioral health.

Jena Mottola, Executive Director at NHPA is excited about the partnership. "We live in a different world now due to technology. It is imperative that we embrace the changes that are taking place and provide guidance and information to our members about how to best equip themselves. What better way to do that than to partner with those that are experts in the field of telebehavioral health. I encourage our members to take advantage of this excellent opportunity."

Dr. Marlene Maheu of the Telebehavioral Health Institute expressed her delight at working with the New Hampshire Psychological Association, “NPHA approached us months ago with their 21st Century vision for their members, many of whom live and work in rural New Hampshire. They’ve been organizing with us behind the scenes to present a 2-day certificate workshop in Nashua on September 14 and 15, whereby attendees will earn a TBHI Certificate after passing an online exam.

Now NPHA has just negotiated a 20% discount on equivalent training for members who wish to earn the Certificate online, thereby dramatically increasing the numbers of professionals who can get their Certificates in New Hampshire and neighboring states. Fees for both programs will be comparable, and both will allow members to be eligible for the TBHI TBHP Certificate, as well as further free credentialing through the Coalition for Behavioral Science (CTiBS).

Either Certificate training will expose attendees to the basic telebehavioral health competencies needed for responsible telebehavioral health care. They will have had 15 hours of basic training, and know where to get more information as needed for their particular circumstances. Conference attendees will have ample time for workshop activities related to finding answers for their specific circumstance, developing policies and clinical skills related to their specific circumstance as they rub elbows with local colleagues who share the same interests.Online trainees will be given a one-hour monthly telegroup conference for finding answers to their questions, too.

The Telebehavioral Health Institute, Inc. (TBHI) specializes in telemental and telebehavioral health, competency-based, professional training. All professional training is available 100% online, allowing professionals to learn 24/7 while remaining in the comfort of their home or office.
