Celebrate TBHI’s 10th Anniversary: Submit Your TBHI Excellence in Telehealth Award Nomination

20 June 2019, Cheyenne, WY — The Telebehavioral Health Institute (TBHI) is proud to be celebrating TBHI’s 10th anniversary in 2019. To honor the many professionals who have diligently worked to develop successful telehealth programs, TBHI will celebrate its 10th anniversary by hosting the TBHI Excellence in Telehealth Award (https://telehealth.org/telehealth-award/).

Winning programs will be selected by the TBHI community using these criteria:

Legal & Ethical Compliance
Delivery by at Least One “TBHI Certified Practitioner”
Narrative Description of at Least One Significant Lesson Learned
Program Outcome Data

The grand prize winner will receive $500 and will be invited to collaborate with TBHI in writing and publishing a project summary article to the Journal for Technology in the Behavioral Sciences (JTiBS) to highlight the program’s effectiveness. Three runner-up winners will be given full access to TBHI’s Telehealth Level I Professional Certificate Training Program, which is accompanied by 15 CME or CE hours (training program value is $379 each.)

All projects that include verifiable, submittable proof of having met the four previously outlined criteria will be posted in the TBHI blog for community evaluation. The telehealth community will be invited to rate the program through extensive Google Adwords campaigns valued at $3000 and widespread social media coverage to announce submissions as they are accepted from May through August of 2019. Voters can be patients, providers, payers or other stakeholders of any of the accepted projects.
