5 Big Mistakes to Avoid When Looking for a Telehealth Job

She’ll help attendees identify key information to look for in a potential online employer's website; how to read their contracts for clauses that may become problematic, and how to evaluate if they technology will allow clinicians to meet requirements set by their licensing board and profession’s ethical code. This information-packed 1-hour program will be focused on helping clinicians develop their own criteria for evaluating potential employers, developing a question list and ultimately decide on which employer to trust and which to avoid.
Dr. Maheu explains, “Working online can indeed be easier and more convenient than in-person care. In fact, it can be the best way for clinicians to leverage their clinical time and effort, but they first need to make sure their employer allows them to easily meet their regulatory and ethical requirements.
