3 Stevie Awards 2017 Winning Brillio Founder & CEO Raj Mamodia Talks at Banasthali

What Oscars are for Film and Grammy for Music, Stevie Awards created in 2002 to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide are the world's most coveted premier business awards.

Brillio a global digital consulting and technology Services Company bagged a 2017 Stevie Gold Award for Company of the Year in the Business & Professional Services category for large companies, Brillio's CEO, Raj Mamodia got the Gold Award for Executive of the Year in the same category and Brillio also received a Bronze Stevie Award for Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year among organizations with more than 2,500 employees. The 2,600-strong Brillio team is based in ten offices across three continents and considers world-class customer satisfaction as its true north.

On 13 Nov 2017, Raj whose native village is adjacent to Banasthali visited the university campus and addressed the students and senior officers at Gyan Mandir auditorium. Prof Aditya Shastri Vice Chancellor welcoming the distinguished guest appreciated the CSIR focus of Brillio on gender equality, women education, women empowerment etc and lauded Brillio for reaching the milestone of 10000 young minds through technology in its goal to empowering 100000 by fostering career development and STEM skills with underserved young minds in India and the United States.

In his inspiring speech, Raj Mamodia described himself as son of a small newspaper vendor, shared his childhood struggle from village school to Jaipur school and then to MNIT Allahabad to do BTech Mechanical Engineering and bagging the coveted job at Larsen and Toubro L&T, moving from Manufacturing to Sales and then Innovation at L&T, the IBM job offer with salary many fold than L&T, taking up MBA at Northwestern University Kellog School of Management USA and ending up as founder CEO of Brillio in 2014.

Raj Mamodia gave insights to the emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Applications, Hacker proof Blockchain technology, Virtual Reality, Quantum Computing, and Cloud Computing. He urged the students to take up their mission with passion and go for game changing disruptive technologies which have the potential ability to change the status quo. Following his speech, Raj Mamodia had an interesting question answer session with students and faculty. Banasthali Vice President Prof. Siddharth Shastri, presented a glittering memento to Raj Mamodia and gave vote of thanks.

The students and faculty who attended and participated in Raj Mamodia’s talk left with beaming faces and pride that they were indeed part of an institution which is a jewel in the crown among the women’s universities not only in India today but across the globe.
