mobinteg will have two stands at Web Summit 2017

Lisbon, October 31st, 2017: mobinteg will return to Web Summit, this year in “double dose”. The Portuguese technology company, specialized in mobile and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, will have not one but two stands in the World’s largest technology conference, with two different solutions, SMIITY and ‘Tá Pedido. ‘Tá Pedido will be officially presented in this year’s edition.

At Web Summit, the 'Tá Pedido platform is classified as an Alpha project and will be presented on November 7th, at stand A-625 (Travel area). And SMIITY, the Beta project by mobinteg, will be on stand B-408 (Lifestyle, Recreation & Wellness are) on November 9th.

Web Summit will have exhibitors and conferences at Altice Arena and Lisbon International Fair (FIL), from November 6-9.

mobinteg presents 'Tá Pedido at Web Summit
Tá Pedido is a flexible, on-demand transport management platform that seeks to cover traditional public transport failures, fill poor accessibility needs, and promote social inclusion by improving and increasing access to goods and services. It will be officially presented to the public in Web Summit 2017.

Through a free app, mobile (iOS and Android) and web, the client (or family member) can use the decentralized service (Town Hall, People's House, among others), call a coordinating center and request a trip, identifying the origin, the destination and the time.

Subsequently, the passenger is allocated on a service route and, according to the requests, the operator (or operators) manages resources (vehicles and drivers). Small vehicles are typically used, such as taxis and minibuses, and the cost of the fare is higher than regular service and less than taxi fare.

SMIITY continues to turn cities into smart destinations
SMIITY is a pioneering solution that goes beyond conventional tourist guides, since it allows points of interest to communicate with their citizens and tourists through a Bluetooth connection to small signal emitters: the beacons.

When you are in the proximity of a beacon, you will receive push notifications with unique content alluding a certain building or place, which becomes the "narrator" of its own story.

In addition to the points of interest, SMIITY offers contextual and local information, from news, events and trails, also allowing the sharing of this content in social media. There is also an augmented reality version, SMIITY AR, which allows you to find points of interest by pointing the camera around you.

All contents are presented to the citizen or tourist in the language of the device, which makes SMIITY more complete. Also note that this is an inclusive app, especially for the blind community, since it has a Visual Assistant which, using the text-to-speech functionality, converts the text into audio, also in the user's language.

Although Portugal is currently the main market, and has already facilitated the transformation of several Portuguese municipalities including Óbidos, Ferreira do Alentejo, Ponte de Sor, Sabugal, Lousã, Elvas or Valongo, SMIITY has been gaining ground outside, being already implemented in Italy, in Susa Valley.

Free and compatible with iOS and Android devices, SMIITY can be downloaded in Google Play and the App Store. There is also a version for Apple Watch.

On the occasion of Web Summit, SMIITY will have a promotional video of the app, produced internally, available on social media.
