Altia Adds European Senior Applications Engineer
Altia is proud to announce the addition of our new European Senior Applications Engineer, Markus Friedel.Before joining Altia in late 2008, Markus gained extensive experience in both automotive software and HMI development at paragon fidelity GmbH, Siemens VDO and Grundig Car InterMedia System GmbH. He has managed and delivered successful programs in projects ranging from infotainment to communications to vehicular subsystems. His duties have spanned embedded software development, user interface design, concept and specification development, software architecture and customer care. In 2001, Markus received his Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Siemens Technical Academy in Erlangen, Germany. One year later, he became an ASQF Certified Project Manager.
As our European Senior Engineer, Markus is tasked with delivering Altia’s customers and prospects with the highest level of technical support and training – both at the early stages of tool evaluation and through customers’ implementation of Altia software with new projects. As customer needs dictate, he will also collaborate on consulting projects. Fluent in German, French and English, Markus will no doubt be a great asset to Altia and to the HMI developers in the European automotive community.
