Compact shading, extended potential
The recently refreshed model markilux 1300 Basic is perfect for both awkward small spaces and larger outdoor areas.
Are you looking to make a big impact, but only have space for a smaller shading system? The markilux 1300 Basic is quite simply the best compact solution on the market today. Slim, stylish and suave, the recently refreshed model is perfect for both awkward small spaces and larger outdoor areas. Offering unrivalled value-for- money, the markilux 1300 Basic combines traditional open awning styling with innovative, contemporary design. All told, this is allows the system to be unobtrusive when retracted, yet still provide a large area of cover when extended.
The timeless model has been a best seller for over 10 years and is one of markilux's key products. A recent model overhaul means the product now includes exciting new features, such as drop-shaped outer side panels and round profiling - both of which enhance its light and sleek appearance, making the product the market leading shading solution for smaller spaces.
The model’s frame and fabric is made to order exclusively in our workshop in Germany. This ensures markilux maintains it's acclaimed exceptional standard of quality control during the manufacturing process. As a result, the shading system has an extremely robust and stable frame constructed from stainless steel, coupled with weatherproof fabric that’s engineered to be durable through heavy rain or strong winds.
Just like the larger markilux models, the 1300 Basic can be equipped with a number of optional extras. These include wind and sun sensors, motor and radio-controlled mechanisms, powerful infrared heaters and Shadeplus - an additional vertical awning designed to provide extra protection from glare. Additionally, the option to lower or raise the awning manually allows you to control how your shading works around the sun’s movement. It may be exceptionally slim and compact, but it still makes a big impact when extended – this is down to the 1300 Basic being available with up to a sizeable seven metres of width and four metres of projection.
The markilux 1300 Basic, with its open casing, is the perfect model to display a vibrant splash of colour at the wall even when it’s not extended. Simply choose your frame and fabric from our in-house fabric collection and markilux will expertly manufacture it for you. Once installed, you can make your mark on your exterior, whether the system is extended or not. As an alternative, choose to have aluminium protection over your awning made especially in the colour of your chosen frame.
The markilux 1300 Basic frame is available in the colours traffic white and white aluminium and can be quickly and easily installed at the wall, below the ceiling or even on a beam by a highly skilled markilux installer.
