Bond with the Best BITSAA International Rajasthan Royals Partnership

There are only a handful of universities in India today which evoke a high level of passion among alumni and at BITS Pilani the Passion Quotient PQ is indeed the highest among alumni.

More than 30,000 alumni of BITS Pilani around the world celebrated as Rajasthan Royals took home the IPL cup in a nail biting finish. Besides the scene of action, ex-students of the premier engineering and science institution rallied for their team across living rooms, cricket websites and messenger chats. For Chennai born Kaushik Subramanian who now lives and works in San Jose, California, the final match was a tussle between his heart and the mind, "My brain told me to root for Chennai Super Kings because I was born there, but my heart was rooting for Rajasthan Royals because of the four wonderful years I spent at BITS Pilani".

Earlier this season, BITSAA (BITS Pilani Alumni Association) International Inc. signed up an exciting partnership with Rajasthan Royals for closer association, discounted tickets and special offers while instantly adding all BITSians around the world to the team's fan base. Widely known to have one of the best networked alumni networks of any Indian institution, the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) is located about 200 kms north of Jaipur at Pilani. On inking the deal with BITSAA International, Manoj Badale, Chairman of the Rajasthan Royals said, “We are extremely excited about this partnership. BITS-ians worldwide are a fine representation of India, highly educated, well settled and truly global citizens, yet deeply connected by a certain bond they share.
