msg nexinsure ag relies on CIB seven - Long-term partnership for open BPM processes in the insurance industry

The specialist for core insurance systems is switching its workflow orchestration to the open source engine CIB seven from CIB.
Ismaning / München, 20. August 2025 - msg nexinsure ag is a provider of comprehensive software solutions for health and composite insurers with around 600 employees, has chosen the CIB seven BPM engine after a thorough evaluation. The aim is to map existing and new business processes within the msg.Insurance Suite in a cost-efficient, future-proof manner that is fully compatible with BPMN 2.0.

Project scope

• Ensuring sustainable operation through CIB seven long-term support and timely troubleshooting.

CIB seven is a BPM engine available as open source software (Apache License 2.0) and a stable solution for process automation. Originally a fork of the Camunda 7 BPM engine, CIB seven has been further developed by CIB software GmbH since 2024 and already offers modern web UIs, LTS packages, and enterprise features such as batch operations and process migration.
