Michael Henrik Wynn plays many parts

A versatile radio editor entertains his audience in two very different audio dramas.

The editor of historyradio.org, literary historian Michael Henrik Wynn, has published two audio dramas in which he himself plays all the parts.

In Frankenstein by Mary Shelley (1797-1851), he has developed the first person narrative of the novel, and created a an exciting drama that retains the poignant emotional subtext of Mary Shelley's original text. The monster is both dangerous and vulnerable, the way he is in the novel. A fact that is not apparent in many of the most famous movie versions.
In the young adult story Black Magic by the now forgotten writer Sydney Horler (1888-1954), he manages to combine satanism and dark forces with quirky characters and considerable humor in way that would appeal to a younger audience. Horler never saw any critical acclaim in his own lifetime, but he did achieve sales of millions. And when you hear the humor of the text, you can understand his mass appeal.

Both as an editor and a narrator Michael Henrik Wynn produces something for everyone.

Michael Henrik Wynn (born 1973) is a literary historian by training, an academic translator and a former high school English and history teacher. For many years he has been engaged in efforts to promote online education with a low threshold, using music, humor, poetry and radio drama to spread knowledge of literary history through his radio stream historyradio.org. He also narrates audiobooks, produces radio drama and publishes text books.
