Besides other novelties, ESCHA shows five pin M12x1 connectors with L- and K-coding for power supply.

Halver, 21 September 2016 – At this year’s SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg from 22 to 24 November 2016, the connectivity specialist ESCHA is again presenting lots of novelties including a new variant of its successful product portfolio ‘Automation Line‘. The ‘Automation Line easystrip‘ is equipped with a special cable which can be particularly easily stripped. In addition, and for the first time, ESCHA is showing new M8x1- and M12x1-Y-junctions with cable outlet as well as new power connectivity with L- and K-coding types. Moreover, and once more, there are many standard products and interesting modification- and development projects on display on Stand 414 in Hall10.

Automation Line easystrip

The new ‘Automation Line easystrip‘ is equipped with a PUR/PP-cable called S400 exclusively available from ESCHA. This cable can be quite easily stripped up to 1.5 meters through a special production process. Despite this function, M8x1- and M12x1-connectors with S400-cable are excellently adapted for dynamic applications in automation fields. All new ‘Automation Line easystrip‘ products are UL-approved and can thus be also used on the North American market. Directly after the SPS IPC Drives, 3- to 12-wire variants in unshielded version will be available.

Y-junctions with cable outlet

Other ESCHA highlights at the European leading trade show for electrical automation are the new and extremely compact Y-junctions with cable outlet available in housing styles M8x1 and M12x1. Male- and female connector alignment is customer freely selectable. All standard cables in PUR and PVC for cable outlets will be available from the outset. The cable outlets can be equipped with M8x1-, M12x1- or valve connectors upon request. As a result of the various options, a high diversity will facilitate product configuration for every application.
L- and K-coding types for M12x1 Power

After the successful market launch of the M12x1 Power products with S- and T-coding types last year, ESCHA is now presenting the five-pole variants at the SPS IPC Drives 2016. These dispose of an L-coding (63V, 16A, 4+FE), respectively a K-coding (630V, 12A, 4+PE). Due to their compact housing design, they are especially adapted for the power supply in the automation field. Classical applications include fieldbus-controlled I/O-boxes, power supply units or small servo motors. The new coding is available for overmolded connectors as well as for T-, H-, and h-junctions.

Standard, Special, Tailor-made

In addition to the above mentioned trade show premieres, ESCHA is also showing its comprehensive standard product portfolio and numerous interesting modification- and development projects at the SPS IPC Drives. Visitors can get information on all these topics on Stand 414 in Hall 10 of the Nuremberg trade show.
