Padma Bhushan Dr. A Sivathanu Pillai (Board of Governor IGEN) , Shri Hans Raj Verma, IAS, Chairman & Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency (TEDA) and CNN-IBN Real Hero Er Elango Rengaswamy (Board of Advisor IGEN) jointly announced the addition of World Record Certification Limited (Great Britian) to IGEN ENERGATHON 2023.WRCA CITATION: The Institution of Green Engineers (IGEN) initiated a world record attempt with a conference IGEN ENERGATHON 2023 that lasted for 19. 13 hours, from 6:45 AM on 27th May to 1:30 AM on 28th May 2023.
The conference featured 110 speakers, 55 presenters, and attracted 15 thousand participants from across the globe. It covered various topics related to clean and renewable energy. Verified by the WRCA, the conference set the world record for the "Longest Virtual Conference"
