Pope Francis Invites Everyone to Participate in the Global

On May 22, 2023, the eighth anniversary of the encyclical Laudato Si', Pope Francis renewed his call for everyone to dedicate this week, Laudato Si' Week, to the environment. The call is mobilizing everyone together, not just Catholics, to address environmental challenges in accordance with the Pope's policies outlined in his climate document. This means that Laudato Si' Week will be a global celebration to bring people together and inspire them to have an ecological conversion.

The conversion Pope Francis is referring to is not the biblical one, in which a person turns to God through faith and seeks spiritual transformation through the Holy Spirit after sincerely repenting of their sin. No. The conversion that is celebrated during Laudato Si' Week is an ecological conversion, which refers to a change in attitude towards the environment. It is a transformation in which an individual embraces sustainability and interconnectedness with nature while seeking to live in harmony with all living beings.

Laudato Si' not only emphasizes the interconnectedness of ecological and social issues and calls for a collective response to climate change, but Pope Francis also makes specific reference to Sunday as a significant day for rest (Laudato Si' #237). In Laudato Si', Pope Francis calls us to celebrate and reflect on Sunday. He claims that by observing Sunday as the weekly day of rest and taking a break from consumerism and the hectic pace of modern life, we can help people rediscover their connection to nature and feel renewed. Pope Francis teaches that Sunday is part of the "law of weekly rest" so that we may be "refreshed."

There is no ecological conversion taught in God's word. There is no such thing as repenting of ecological sins, and Sunday is certainly not an ecological day of rest for us. Pope Francis has published a climate encyclical that contradicts the doctrines and teachings given to us by Jesus Christ. The theological errors of Laudato Si' should not be obeyed but refuted.

Our real mission is to preach the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ (Revelation 14:6) in the context of the Three Angels' Message. This is our work. This is the good news of salvation. This work involves proclaiming these teachings while encouraging people to embrace a relationship with God through faith in Christ. May God help us to adhere to this faith. And when this true faith is understood, affirmed, and analyzed, you will have no choice but to confront and firmly resist the heresy of the climate conversion hysteria.
