Adventists in Mexico, including our Children, Teamed Up with Various Catholic Orders to Promote Diversity, Dialogue, Inclusion, Ties, Sustainability, and the Common Good
On October 6, 2022, several churches gathered together with Lili Campos, a politician, and the local municipal president to celebrate the Inter-religious Fair for Peace. They gathered at the Playa de Carmen municipal seat in Quintana Roo, Mexico called "Civic Square July 28," which was so named to honor the date the municipality was established. The local newspaper reported that the interfaith event sought to accomplish the following:
• "With actions that promote peace, respect and tolerance for religious diversity."
• "Peace and respect are fostered, ties, friends, opportunities are generated and the common good is built."
• "What we are looking for in this interregional fair is to create spaces to promote the social and cultural contributions of the different religious traditions,
• "Create spaces for dialogue with the educational field to promote inclusion."
• "Contribution of the religious sphere to the sustainable development goals."
The local newspaper went on to list the church affiliation of those who attended:
• "At this first fair the active participants were the Missionaries of Jesus Christ, Caritas Quintana Roo, Al-Anon family groups, Regnum Christi, Apostles of the Word, the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Prayer and Life Workshops, as well as the Sol Deo Gloria orchestra, that entertained the event while the churches toured the booths."
Who were these faith-based groups that Seventh-day Adventists in Mexico were so eager to join? Below, we will explain them in more detail:
• Missionaries of Jesus Christ - Latter-day Saints.
• Caritas Quintana Roo - a Catholic charity group whose international headquarters is in Rome.
• Al-Anon family groups - a support group for alcoholics.
• Regnum Christi - a Roman Catholic order that consists of the Legionaries of Christ, consecrated women, consecrated men, and lay members.
• Apostles of the Word - a Roman Catholic order that defends Catholicism and offers "a service to the Church, aimed at strengthening the faith of Catholics against the onslaught of sects and the new religiosity."
• Prayer and Life Workshops - a Vatican-approved order of missionaries dedicated to introducing people to "liturgical prayer and sacramental life."
• Sol Deo Gloria orchestra - "Sol Deo Gloria" is Latin for "Glory be to God the Sun."
In images provided by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, we can see how the Adventist youth from the Pathfinders club were also being led to Rome. Even younger children from the Seventh-day Adventist Adventurers Club were taken to the Catholic interfaith unity event.
It is one thing when church leaders engage in interfaith activities aimed at seeking a better relationship with the papacy at their own expense, but it is completely incomprehensible when we use our children as political pawns to pursue closer ties with Rome.
"The time was when Protestants placed a high value upon the liberty of conscience which had been so dearly purchased. They taught their children to abhor popery and held that to seek harmony with Rome would be disloyalty to God. But how widely different are the sentiments now expressed!" (Great Controversy, p. 563).
Today we are witnessing a new intimate relationship between militant Roman Catholic Orders and Seventh-day Adventists. So intimate are these new relationships that they are nearly one, sharing one common vision and mission. Today we see partnerships and, in some cases, mergers between the churches under the cloak of diversity, dialogue, inclusion, sustainability, and the common good. #sda #adventist #adventista

Let Us Stop Avoiding the Real Issues
As the 2025 General Conference Session convenes, with believers from around the world watching and praying, there is an unmistakable sense of frustration among many of the faithful. While we will be given lectures about returning our tithes and offerings-as outlined in the proposed 2025 Church Manual agenda-we must ask ourselves: is this truly the burning concern on the hearts of God's remnant people at this critical hour in history?
The…

Ganoune Diop: "I Never Said I Don't Preach the Three Angels' Message-That Would …
While walking down the hallway at the America's Center Convention Complex-the site of the 62nd General Conference Session-I saw Ganoune Diop approaching. Knowing how busy church leaders are during these sessions, I asked if he had time to answer just one question. He stopped to look at me, and I asked him directly, "Why don't you preach the Three Angels' Messages? Why do you only preach Jesus?" As he began…

Ghostface Horror Character in an Adventist Pulpit
Galatians 5:9 states unequivocally, "A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump," a warning against permitting even minor instances of biblical compromise. In other words, if small negative influences are allowed to spread, they will eventually corrupt an entire movement.
On March 17, 2024, Brother Fabio posted a video with the following caption in the Seventh-day Adventist News outlet Baluarte:
"This dramatic scene that we are seeing occurred in an Adventist church located…
Adventist Health Portland Honors Pride Month
Pride Month has become an international freak show that takes place in June and comes complete with nudity, debauchery, bondage, and sexual decadence-all aimed toward children. Homosexual activists, trans militants, and drag queens openly flaunt their sin, promote it brazenly, and parade it proudly down the main streets of society. Truly, during pride month, the revelers "parade their sin like S@dom."
"The look of their faces testify against them. They…

Bringing Disrepute to the Seventh-day Adventist Name
Ellen White talks about a class who bring "the name of Seventh-day Adventists into disrepute" (Testimonies, Vol. 2, p. 533). This is used to describe people who do things that harm or defame the Seventh-day Adventist name. It refers to acting in a way that is viewed as inappropriate or contrary to the standards of the name they are supposed to uphold. There are behaviors that ought to cause us…
Penang Adventist Hospital Wishes you a Happy Deepavali
The celebration of Deepavali is associated with Lord Krishna, a major Hindu god. During the Deepavali festival, which usually lasts about 5 days, worshipers commemorate Lord Krishna’s victory over the cruel demon known as Narakasura. It is said that this demon oppressed the people until the people prayed to Krishna, who responded by killing Narakasura during a battle. Therefore, Deepavali commemorates Krishna defeating Narakasura.
Now we have Penang Adventist Hospital,…
