Mobile website owners in India are rushing to install the AdSpruce mobile web SDK and create a new revenue stream from their mobile website. AdSpruce has signed up a significant number of new publisher partners, including some of the biggest premium entertainment networks in India.

The AdSpruce Software Development Kit (SDK) is a mobile technology solution that allows mobile website publishers to dynamically inject pre-roll and in-stream video adverts into live streams, VOD content and as an interstitial advert when users click on links to downloads, apps, media, articles and more. Its USP lies in its ability to serve these advertisements to not only smartphones and tablets, but also the large and lucrative feature-phone market – an industry-first. Whilst the feature phone market has previously played a minor role for mobile advertising, largely due to technology constraints, AdSpruce’s new technology opens the advertising market up to an estimated three billion feature phone users. Smartphones may be on the rise but feature phone sales are still on a par with smartphone purchases as sales data reveal that 49.3% of the 426 million mobile devices sold in Q1 2013 were feature phones (Gartner, May 2013).
