Scintillating Finish to BITS Pilani BOSM 2007
Prof RK Mittal gives Ranvir Trehan Tennis Trophy to Suhas S Kashyap
For BITSians every BOSM is a passionate project which must be planned, funded, organized, conducted, controlled and completed in time to budget and performance specifications. Year after year they have been excelling in doing the same. BOSM 2007 had sponsorship from Adidas, Levi, The Week Magazine, Nerolac Paints etc.
The valedictory function on Sep 16, 2007 Sunday evening had Dean Practice School Division of BITS Pilani Prof G Sundar as the Chief Guest and Dean Academic Registration & Counselling Division of BITS Pilani Prof R K Mittal as Guest of Honor. Dr Pintu Modak of BITS Pilani the driving force behind BOSM 2007 gave the mementos to the officiating personnel for various sporting events. The winners for various events received the medals from the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, Dean Student Welfare, Dean Work Integrated Learning Programmes and Chief Warden.
Prof RK Mittal Guest of Honor who is also the President of BITSAA (BITS Alumni Association) handed the glittering Proud to be a BITS Alumnus Ranvir Trehan Tennis Trophy to Suhas S Kashyap third year student pursuing M.Sc. (Hons) Physics and B.E. (Hons) Electrical & Electronics from BITS Pilani Rajasthan.
Chief Guest Prof G Sundar gave the overall runners-up trophy to the host BITS Pilani Team and the Championship trophy to the Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College (SBMJC) Bangalore for their stellar all-round performance.
Champions are made from something they have deep inside them -- a desire, a dream, a vision and a well organized event like BOSM indeed brings this truth out.
