When Adventist Churches Serve as Polling Stations for Voters

When did Seventh-day Adventist Churches become political polling centers for voters to cast their ballots during our US elections? When did Jesus say, "Teach all nations, baptize them and register them to vote?" There is a reason why, from the very beginning, the church has devoted its time winning souls for Christ. There is a reason why Seventh-day Adventists established schools, sanitariums, churches, and publishing houses but not political campaigns. There is a purpose why our pioneers built centers for evangelism and not voter registration drives. Tragically, some have lost sight of God's original calling and election (2 Peter 1:10).
