ESCHA at sps ipc drives 2012

Sercos and EtherCAT
Fieldbus connectors require a reliable 360° shielding to enable a safe and industrial-suited data transmission. ESCHA relies on its own development of the patented 2SSK-technology. In case of this two-shell shielding concept, connecting the shield is not effected through a shield connection crimped on the cable, but through a reliable crimping with the shield housing. The concluding two-component overmolding guarantees the round connector protection classes IP67, IP68 and IP69K.
In Nuremberg, ESCHA presents sercos-compatible connection- and junction cables with a drag-chain suited cable quality (PUR) of category Cat5e in M12x1 housing style (4-pole, male, straight/right-angle) and RJ45 (4-pole/8pole, male, multiport- capable). ESCHA products guarantee optimal network utilization through high signal reserves.
In addition to connection- and junction cables in M12x1 housing styles (4-pole, male/female, straight/right-angle) and RJ45 (4-pole/8-pole, male, multiport-capable), M8x1 connectivity components (4-pole, male/female, straight/right-angle) for EtherCAT are available as well. These can be optionally equipped with a drag-chain suited PUR- cable or a PVC-cable for moving applications. Both cable qualities meet the Cat5 category requirements.
Valve connectors
In the area of valve connectors, ESCHA successfully launched a completely redesigned product generation last year. This will be extended by double-valve-connectors, an adapter between a valve connector and M12x1 round connector and valve connectors with straight cable outlet at the sps ipc drvies.
The double-valve connectors for a voltage range up to 24V AC/DC in A housing style are available with a connection cable or with M12x1-connection. All versions can be equipped with either a UL-listed PUR- or a UL-listed PVC-cable quality. The products with a straight cable outlet are available in A housing style as well and can be optionally equipped with a thread for protective tubing. They are particularly suitable for applications with narrow space e.g. wind-power farms.
Due to their basic new design, all types of the valve-connector range by ESCHA require less installation space than before. They are dust- and waterproof according to protection class IP67 and meet the IP69K-requirements against water at high pressure- and steam-jet cleaning. The valve connectors guarantee a very well-visible LED-display through their translucent grey-black overmolding in all mounting positions.

In addition to the aforementioned trade-show premiers, ESCHA will also exhibits its comprehensive standard-product programme as well as lots of interesting modifications- and development projects at the sps ipc drives. Visitors can get information on all these topics on Stand 320 in Hall 6.
