Michael Rapp Appointed President of En Pointe Technologies

LOS ANGELES, CA – September 10, 2012 – En Pointe Technologies Sales Inc., a solution provider of IT products and services, announced the appointment of Michael Rapp to the position of president, effective September 10, 2012. As head of the company, Mr. Rapp will lead all sales, services, and marketing.

Michael has been a member of En Pointe’s executive team for the past 10 years. As vice president of software sales, he grew the software business from $30M to over $350M within five years and was then promoted to his current position of senior vice president of sales and professional services.

He first helped the company become a customer centric organization and has led our transition to a solutions provider,” commented Bob Din, CEO of En Pointe Technologies. “Since then, En Pointe has won recognition from Microsoft as an SI-LAR (Systems Integrator Large Account Reseller) and achieved the Microsoft Operational Excellence Award for the past four years. Additionally, Michael has been instrumental in developing cloud services for En Pointe. These offerings include Service En Demand, Manage En Demand, dinHVD (cloud hosted virtual desktops), En Pointe Collaboration Solution or ECS (hosted collaboration solutions), and NetApp-based backup and disaster recovery offerings, all in the public and private cloud.”

En Pointe recently was recognized as the LANDesk Partner of the Year with specific kudos to its technical team. Earlier this year, Cisco named En Pointe as an authorized Cloud Provider.

In 2006, he was awarded the Symantec Partner Executive of the Year. Currently, he sits on the advisory councils for both Microsoft and Symantec.
