Dan Guardino set to make his mark in Hollywood

Bollywood here we come! Flo Fitzpatrick’s Mumbai, India comedy/action sizzler ‘Hot Stuff’, published by Kensington Books New York is destined to be the comedy to beat on the big screen in future.

Optioned for movie production through Femme Fatale Films’ producer, Carmen Stevens, negotiations are in progress to bring about the Hollywood/Bollywood production through co-production with big name movie studios in both countries.

Dan Guardino, Script Consultant for Hollywood Producer Michael Z. Gordon’s “Heart Stopper”, directed by Paul Flaherty, and the television comedy/drama series “Mafiosa”, has several movie scripts currently signed to ‘option’ for production—the Australian paranormal trilogy of scripts ‘Glass House’, the scriptwriter’s own story ‘Web of Deceptions’, plus ‘My Own Worst Enemy’ which is co-written with Michael Z. Gordon, also the adaptation of ‘Hot Stuff’.

With Dan Guardino assigned as the Screenwriter for the adaptation of “Hot Stuff” the production is sure to cause riotous laughter in cinemas. Taking the film production to Mumbai, India, the cast and crew are destined to unleash an Academy Award Hollywood/Bollywood movie to lift the lid off all Box Office hits.

Currently in the process of adaptation is ‘Mozart’s Magic Flute’ from Flo Fitzpatrick’s novel ‘Cold as Ice’, with Kensington Books New York. The adaptation for this movie script by Guardino is set to be filmed in Prague.

Dan Guardino’s talent is in hot demand of late, portraying character roles suited to acclaimed actors such as Johnny Depp, Kristen Dunst, Orlando Bloom, Renee Zellwenger, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, and Geoffrey Rush. We caught up with Hollywood Script Consultant and Screenwriter Dan Guardino this week to speak with him about the scripts he is working on:

“I specialize in adaptations and have eight to my credit so far. Some of these movie scripts are optioned for production.

I am really excited about how ‘My Own Worst Enemy’ is coming along. It’s the story about a young man overcoming all odds to have a successful career as a songwriter, musician, and entertainer, dating back to the sixties. Writing the story takes me back to a time when I used to cruise Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard “The Strip” every Saturday night listing to surf music, which was the big craze in Southern California back then.

‘Mozart’s Magic Flute’ is another exciting project underway. The story takes the cast and film crew of a production company on location outside Prague to a haunted castle, Kouzlo Noc, and leads to a centuries old murder. Pepper Ryan, the energetic chorographer location scout has to solve the mystery of the missing flute carved for Mozart or she will be the next to die.

I can see actors like Kristen Dunst and Jessica Biel playing the character roles of Bambi Tremaine, and Pepper Ryan who is sent to search for the perfect location for their gothic musical. I can also visualize someone like Johnny Deep or a Matt Damon playing the role of Sly, the burglar that literarily falls out of a tree near the graveyard, into Pepper Ryan’s life.”

Associated with the producer of ‘Narc’, the movie production to make millions for the producer Michael Z. Gordon, Dan Guardino’s talent being recognized throughout the industry. This talented Script Consultant Screenwriter is set to make his mark in Hollywood with the list of scripts already optioned for production, or in production, to his credit.
