EPCOR Transmission Inc. to install ETAP Real-Time System
ETAP Canada Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has completed the installation of an ETAP Real-Time system for EPCOR Transmission Inc. The ETAP Real-Time system enables EPCOR Transmission Inc. to utilize real-time SCADA / EMS (Energy Management System) data from its Edmonton-area network to monitor, analyze and store electrical power system specific data 24/7.The system will enhance EPCOR’s ability to quickly assess the conditions surrounding electrical emergencies. In addition, the system will be used to develop switching management sequences and help train operators regarding switching sequence management.
