INDEVCO to Present at Arab Beverage Conference 2010

(Ajaltoun, Lebanon) INDEVCO will present at the annual Arab Beverage Conference 2010 to be held in the General Union of Commerce in Beirut, Lebanon on 27 - 28 October 2010.

Maher Dabbous, INDEVCO Flexible Packaging Market Development Director, will speak on behalf of the group and present innovative beverage packaging trends and technologies at the conference.

Dabbous will discuss customer-driven and beverage packaging trends, what to look for in a packaging supplier, examples of ‘inspired’ packaging, and sustainability efforts.

INDEVCO member companies in Egypt, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia produce corrugated and flexible beverage packaging for soft drinks, dairy, juice and nectar, water, and hot beverage manufacturers.

Flexible packaging materials for beverages range from bottle labels, printed shrink wrap, and peel lids to barrier films. Corrugated beverage packaging includes promotional boxes, bag-in-box (BIB) outer cartons, point-of-purchase (POP) displays, and wrap-around carton.
Purpose of the Conference

Participants in the annual Arab Beverage Conference will become familiarized with the most recent developments, equipment, and packaging, as well as opportunities that arise from new technologies. Furthermore, the conference supports the Middle Eastern and Arabian Gulf beverage industries. [1]

The conference is organized by the General Union of the Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of the Arab Countries (GUCCIAAC), in collaboration with the Arab Beverage Association and the Arab Federation for Food Industries.
