Press release from: Portrait Software

/ PR Agency: March Communications

Boston, MA - February 25, 2010 – Portrait Software, a leading provider of customer interaction software, today announced the early availability of Portrait Dialogue 5. Formerly known as Portrait Campaign Manager, the significantly enhanced solution converts disparate campaigns and customer interactions into an engaging two-way dialogue to improve customer retention, reduce customer opt-out, and increase lifetime value.

Portrait Dialogue 5 will help marketing and CRM departments improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their marketing campaigns by enabling engaging interactions for the customer, rather than a department or product, as well as providing actionable visibility into live campaign performance.

Portrait Dialogue 5 will empower customer-centric B2C marketing organizations to:
• Convert campaigns into an enduring two-way dialogue
• Connect the customer experience across all on and offline customer touch points
• Embed insight and understanding into every interaction
• Boost efficiency using multi-step, multi-phase dialogue automation
• Uncover performance issues as they’re happening – and take action

Portrait Dialogue 5 will help organizations improve the overall effectiveness of their marketing efforts by pushing real-time, dynamic customer insight and live campaign results to marketers; campaigns delivering above plan can be instantly bolstered, remedial action on sub-optimal programs can also be taken immediately. It is no longer necessary to wait days, weeks or months to measure and plan programs – every marketing dollar can be made to count.

Without training, users can save significant time and money by automating common marketing practices. Centralized campaign management and administration, together with intuitive planning and collaboration capabilities, will also increase marketing campaign output while reducing reliance upon IT departments for administration and campaign reporting.

Commenting on the launch of Portrait Dialogue 5, Tim Hines, vice president of product management for the CRM products of Consona Corporation, a partner of Portrait’s for three years, says: “Unlike most common campaign management offerings, Portrait’s new solution provides a single, highly-visual, point of control for marketing users, including guidance wizards for campaigns much like Turbotax does for your taxes. Our partnership with Portrait has spanned many years and has helped our customers improve interactions with their customers, engaging them in meaningful, personal dialogues.”

The application’s fresh new User Interface utilizes Microsoft’s Silverlight technology, which will provide marketers with a new class of rich, secure and scalable cross-platform experiences. Additional Microsoft-centric features include integration to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Outlook task management and Microsoft Reporting Services.

“Organizations today are realizing that customers expect more than just campaigns - they expect the company to know them and treat them as individuals,” says Luke McKeever, CEO of Portrait Software. “Portrait Dialogue 5 will enable organizations to act on customer insight immediately and consistently through relevant interactions at every touch point. Our emphasis on connected two-way dialogue for greater customer engagement is in direct response to the industry’s evolution. Portrait Dialogue 5 is a customer interaction solution, not a traditional campaign management system.”

Portrait Dialogue 5’s many new feature enhancements include:
• Fresh New Role-based User Interface – The highly intuitive new UI features MS Windows 7 styling, allowing users to get up and running quickly with minimal training, while visual indicators push the most relevant actionable information to the fore
• Augmented Marketer Usability – Portrait Dialogue is packed with new usability and visibility features which allow marketers to be more efficient, achieve greater actionable insight and ensure company-wide /departmental adoption
• Deeper, Actionable Customer Insight – Sophisticated contact optimization and real-time scoring is now tightly integrated directly into the operational environment to enable increased customer insight, improved customer relevancy, optimized marketing spend and more profitable campaigns
• Social Media Channel Integration – A Social media channel strategy, that is completely integrated across channels and relevant to individual customers, can now be deployed
• Microsoft Office Integrated Planning and Collaboration – Enables organizations to achieve greater organizational efficiency, get everyone on the same page and better deliver campaigns on-time and on-target via integrated task management and extended MRM capabilities
• Extended Support for Distributed and International Organizations – Improves efficiency across distributed user bases and improves relevance to foreign language customer bases
• Inbound / Outbound Fusion – An enhanced capability to share offers across inbound and outbound channels by providing immediate visibility into cross-channel interaction history to connect the dialogue
