Perfect Mix: Web Technologies of WeWebU Complement SAPERION ECM

Herzogenaurach/Berlin, 01/18/2010 – WeWebU Software AG, maker of standard software for Enterprise Information Management (EIM), and SAPERION AG, expert for Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software, have agreed upon technological cooperation. The ECM suite of the Berlin cooperation is complemented with the cutting-edge technologies of WeWebU OpenECM-Framework – especially the flagship product SAPERIONvelocity benefits from it.

SAPERION’s objective was to add a web-based eFile management application to its ECM suite. After careful evaluation, the cooperation decided for using the trendsetting and powerful web technologies of WeWebU OpenECM-Framework to implement it.

Rudolf Gessinger, CEO of SAPERION AG, explains: “OpenECM-Framework complements SAPERION very well. Thus, we were able to develop SAPERIONvelocity fast and bring the web-based electronic file with high usability quickly to the market. The framework allowed us satisfying the market’s demand on Content Enabled Vertical Applications (CEVA) in no time. Analysts like Gartner see CEVAs as strategic topic for the coming months.“

“This cooperation is a classical win-win situation for us”, adds Joerg Limberg, COO of WeWebU Software AG. “We are proud that SAPERION decided for using WeWebU technologies for implementing SAPERIONvelocity. Furthermore, the cooperation with SAPERION also helps us to further develop our own products towards open standards like JCR or CMIS systematically.”

By partnering with SAPERION AG points out the new strategy of WeWebU Software AG to position itself as international, independent software maker for Enterprise Information Management and is another important milestone in realizing its growth strategy.
