IRVINE, CA – Earthbound Media Group (EMG) is proud to announce its latest accolade from the 2009 Summit Marketing Effectiveness Awards. Recognized by the Summit International Awards (SIA), EMG was selected as a winner in the category of “Leisure and Entertainment” for its submission developed for 20th Century Fox’s I Love You, Beth Cooper cross-channel marketing campaign. The primary website www.iloveyoubethcoopermovie.com underwent a rigorous evaluative criteria and blind judging process, and ultimately proved to be noteworthy among the panel judges who saw tremendous value in its marketing communication effectiveness.

Appropriately launched over Valentine’s Day weekend by EMG, the I Love You, Beth Cooper official movie website at iloveyoubethcooper.com allows users to completely tailor their web experience and interaction via social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and YouTube as well as interactive widgets. The site boasts an option for users to create a customized trailer complete with personalized pop-up commentary and e-card functionality. In turn, users are able to share and confide their juiciest feelings via personalized I Love You, Beth Cooper-inspired messages online.

The Marketing Effectiveness Award (MEA) received a pool of 504 entries from across the United States and around the globe. The competition for the MEA is based on the premise that the goal of marketing communications is to change, influence, or reinforce a target audience’s knowledge, attitudes or beliefs. Through these criteria, EMG’s I Love You, Beth Cooper website was recognized as “Winner”, a status granted to only 18% of submissions for the 2009 awards season.
