Press release from: Typevents LLP

Typevents LLP is fortunate to have the active support of a number of companies from across the graphic communications sector and is delighted to welcome baseline international typographics magazine as its most recent partner.

Typevents and baseline will be working together to connect the international typographic community with the allied industries of graphic design, art and craft, paper and print and other creative environments. Typevents and baseline share an emancipated attitude to the graphic arts sector and have an imaginative approach to communication: characteristics which will see the two organisations cooperating on published pieces, linking together on innovative events and facilitating the exchange of information and resources.

baseline is the world’s leading international magazine of type and typography covering both its design and history as well as function. baseline’s content is eclectic containing a rich mixture of articles, editorial, reference material from internationally known contributors whose style ranges from academic to the journalistic. The magazine was first issued in 1979 by Letraset—the manufacturer of graphic arts materials. In 1993 baseline changed ownership and is now published regularly by Kent-based Bradbourne Publishing Limited under the expert art and editorial direction of Hans Dieter Reichert, AGI and Mike Daines.
