ASCENDO System F speaker
Stuttgart, Germany April, 2009. Ascendo presents the brand new model System F as a world release at the HIGH END Show in Munich, Germany.
System F comprises all of the well known features of the Ascendo System Series: SASB Technology, variable Time-Alignment, mechanical and electrical decoupling.
Additionally System F is equipped with the latest Ascendo technology break through, called BACYC (Balanced Cylinder Configuration). The BACYC Technology improves dramatically the spatial dispersion of the wave field. This yields to an absolute stable and precise imaging.
For the first time Ascendo implemented the TOS Technology, known from Ascendo C-Series, into a speaker of the Systems series:
It is thus switchable between BACYC and Dipole radiation for a total adjustment to room geometry and acoustics: The best of booth worlds.
Jürgen Scheuring, CEO of the Company about the new Technology: ‘ At Ascendo we knew for a long time about the problems of early floor reflections. We realized that this might be the limiting factor in current systems. Finally we found a solution for this basic problem. The acoustic result was astonishing for all of us: With the BACYC Technology we hear the speaker for the very first time quasi in the free-field. This produces a never heard black background and outstanding spatial information.’
The price point of this completely new developed cutting-edge speaker is 11,800 €. Worldwide shipment starts in June.
