Manu Koshy, the new Senior Vice President – Channel & Marketing, will look to forge new business alliances with vendors and develop Optimus’ channel in the MENA region.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 19, 2009: Optimus Technology & Telecommunications, a leading valued added distributor of technology products and IT services in the region, announced the appointment of Manu Koshy as the company’s new Senior Vice President – Channel & Marketing. This appointment comes as part of the company’s enhanced customer and partnership focused strategy. In this position, Koshy will be directly responsible for forging alliances with leading global vendors, understanding new technologies, and developing Optimus’ channel network in the MENA region. Koshy will also head the Optimus team in business development activities that will lead to identifying and bringing in the best-in-class solutions and technology to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Having worked with large business houses and delivering cutting edge IT products and services to their clients, Koshy brings with him over sixteen years of international experience in channel and vendor management particularly in the Middle East region. He has also worked with leading Indian and APAC based IT Value added distributors and vendors. As the Senior Vice President of the company, Koshy’s immediate focus will be to translate his expertise into achieving the organizational vision of Optimus, through the strengthening of its product portfolios and channel strategy. He will also focus on strengthening end-customer and channel partner relationships.
