CINCINNATI, Ohio – March 31, 2006 – Thomas M. Nies, Cincom Systems’ Founder, President and CEO, has accepted an invitation to join the Board of Distinguished Judges and Advisors for the 2006 International Business Awards(SM) (IBA).

Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges and Advisors and their staffs select International Stevie winners from among the finalists, which are determined by volunteer judges from around the world during two months of preliminary judging. Winners of the IBA receive the Stevie Award.

Nies, once hailed by the late President Ronald Reagan as "the epitome of the entrepreneurial spirit of American business," won the 2005 International Stevie Award for Best International Executive. He was recognized for his lifelong success, which includes:

* Twenty straight years of generating more than $100 million in revenue – a feat unparalleled in the software industry except for Microsoft

In 2005, his success continued when Cincom announced:

* A 41% increase in revenue from fiscal 2004* to 2005.

* The last four years have been the most profitable in Cincom’s 37-year corporate history.

*Gross revenue per employee increasing from $153,200 in 2004 to $193,400 in 2005 for a 27% productivity improvement.

Nies also has the distinction of being featured in the famous Smithsonian Institution as one of the "pioneers of the software industry.” (Visit http://americanhistory.si.edu/collections/comphist/nies.htm .)
