Interactive Audiobooks do not repeat themselves - usually. However - Audiogent received their sixth award this year.

In 2008, Audiogent received awards for innovation, business concept and their business plan on various occasions. At the end of the year the young scientists and entrepreneurs from Magdeburg obtained yet another prize: "Kreativ-Award 2008" (Creativity-Award 2008) of the Businessplanwettbewerb Sachsen-Anhalt, which was sponsored by the KfW-Mittelstandsbank.

The internationally operating company Audiogent takes the concept of "Interactive Audiobooks" to the next level. The four graduates from the University of Magdeburg (Cornelius Huber, Robert Lübke, Lars Stockmann and Thomas Zomack), together with Maic Masuch – Germany's first Professor for Computer Games, work alongside with remote control productions GmbH, the production company of Hendrik Lesser ("Sacred") to market the world's first true Interactive Audiobooks. They cooperate with well-known authors, screenplay writers and dubbing studios for their first productions. Think tank owner Prof. Graham Horton (Zephram GbR) will accompany Audiogent as mentor in 2009.

Fans of interactive fiction may look forward to spring 2009, as the first titles are already in production. The outcome of the story will then be determined by the customers.
