PDM / DNC System CAMback with new and handy-features
Version 1.4 of the Product Data Management-System CAMback professional released
This latest version of the PDM / DNC software convinces through improved detail solutions, which were incorporated into release plans based on feedback by customers and our own industrial consultants alike. As always, usability was top priority for the latest software specifications.
Compared to systems of competitors, “CAMback” now supports version-spanning logging of CNC file transmissions. Traceability of all file versions is now done with a single mouse click.
In addition, the software now offers the possibility of directly comparing files of unknown versions. In practice, this file comparison can be required or useful for CNC files, CAD drawings or other document types. Different NC files or their versions can be viewed by operators using the included NC comparison tool.
With the latest software version, automatic file recognition during NC file transfers from machines to network PCs has been improved as well. The DNC module now has the ability to identify transferred files, for example as NC programs, tool or geometrical data, and archive them automatically.
Security and transparency during CNC file transmission is achieved by introducing clear text status messages. Thus the operator at the CNC machine receives immediate confirmation, whether transmitted NC files were archived correctly.
