Industrial Data Management System ready for deployment across multiple sites

Durlangen, Aug.7, 2007.The recent Version 1.7 of the data management system CAMback enterprise meets the demands of corporate groups distributed across multiple sites.
The PDM / PLM / DMS system is designed to classify and manage all documents and files created throughout the value-added process of an industrial concern in an audit-proof repository.
With information safety for enterprises (e.g. ISO 27001) in mind, access control for documents and document structures was integrated. Specific permissions can now be set for different structures like products, routings, folders, machines and even individual files.
The system extension offers access control based on the individual companies' organisational structures. Setting up permissions is simplified by freely definable user groups and default permissions.
Access control for documents and data is of great interest for concerns, corporate groups and small- and medium-sized businesses alike.
The program is avaiable in almost any language so it helps to overcome language barriers between company sites in different countries.
