Press release from: Brigade Electronics PLC

Small and compact, the BE-500C range can be fitted discreetly to the vehicle for a reversing view or to the front to meet the class six requirements of the EU directive (2003/97/EC for front mounted cameras or mirrors). They are the ideal solution for truck drivers who experience problems with front mirrors being knocked or broken in the truck wash. The four models in the range provide both mirror image to represent the view as seen in the rear view mirror, or normal for front viewing, with horizontal or vertical mounting options.

The high quality cameras produce a colour image with a wide viewing angle of 160º diagonal, are excellent in low light conditions and are IP68 dust tight and waterproof.

The BE-500C is compatible with all of Brigade’s BE professional range TFT, LCD colour monitors and can be fitted internally or externally. For operators concerned about driver security, the BE-500C can be connected to Brigade’s MDR, mobile digital recorder.

Brigade can provide comprehensive coverage for enhanced vehicle security, passenger, driver and pedestrian safety. The global market leaders in reversing safety and all round visibility has an extensive range of camera/monitor systems to suit all vehicle types from light vans and commercial vehicles to mobile plant machinery.
