mobinteg "lands" in Brazil with mobiSHOUT!

Lisbon, June 16, 2017: mobinteg reinforces its internationalization strategy with its entry into the Brazilian market. The Portuguese technology company launches this week the solution mobiSHOUT! in São Paulo, after starting this project in Rio de Janeiro, with a new integrated functionality: indoor location using Beacons.

With the new functionality of mobiSHOUT!, the user can easily navigate indoors and also access detailed information about the environment, such as exhibitions in museums or stands in fairs.

Indoor location is made possible with the installation of Beacons, small emitters of signals, in different points of the building. When you enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, these emitters send signals to your mobile device, making it possible to determine your position within the building.

This technological innovation is thus an alternative to GPS, which does not work inside buildings, and it should also be noted that the use of Bluetooth does not consume the battery of a smartphone or tablet as quickly as the use of GPS.

Thanks to this technology, locations managers can even analyse visitor flows and, based on this information, know the most interesting spaces and then offer optimized routes and relevant information at the right time and place.

In the case of the project in São Paulo, an exhibition, mobiSHOUT! will act as a guide, both from the point of view of circulation within the space, and of interpretation of the works exposed.

This is possible with the presentation of contextual and complementary information to the visitor, such as videos and photo galleries, not forgetting the possibility of activating an audioguide, making the solution even more inclusive and adding value to the visitor’s experience.

Complementarily, mobinteg has developed a module that recognizes the information available in a timeline. The visitor only has to point the camera of the smartphone to one of the exposed dates and will be given access to all the associated information.
