Dinner & Dance at 12 Temple Place Restaurant, London

LONDON, 27th of October 2008 – The first dinner & dance evening at 12 Temple Place Restaurant at Swissôtel The Howard, London, will be held on Friday 21st November with a live swing and jazz band. Aimed at the modern day romantics and enthusiasts of the celebrity dance show ‘Strictly Come Dancing,’ guests will experience a four course meal then dance the night away to the alluring tunes of a live band. This captivating experience is £89.00 per person with an additional £25.00 for wine pairings.

Executive Chef, Brian Sparks, will delight taste buds with a decadent five-course menu, placing emphasis on seasonal and local produce. Customers will dine on delectable creations including “Roast Scallop with Black Pudding Mash”, followed by an intermediary course of Champagne Sorbet, to make room for a delicious “Beef Wellington with Fondant Potato Roasted Salsify and Sauté Wild Mushrooms,” and polished off with an “Earl Grey Tea Chocolate Fondant with Orange Marmalade Ice-Cream.”

Diners will be able to indulge fully in this delightful meal, knowing that they will be on the dance floor for the rest of the evening. Music from the live band located in the Garden Courtyard will set the scene for the evening and create a fun filled ambience. Throughout the evening, the guests can take to the dance floor which is surrounded by a winter marquee, to dance the night away under the stars and request any dance you wish to be played.

12 Temple Place Restaurant is designed with a trendy British touch by Squint Ltd, including innovative patchwork-covered furniture and accessories accompanied by an eclectic mix of design elements from Italy and France. With the capacity to seat 80 persons, the ideal amount of patrons is assured, with enough people to create a vibrant and entertaining atmosphere and yet not too crowded to risk treading on others feet.
