Matoma acquires Swiss Syspost AG

(Trossingen, Wallisellen) The software company Matoma GmbH from the Swabian town of Trossingen takes over Syspost AG from Wallisellen. In recent years, the Swiss company, which specializes in mailroom equipment, has made the transition from furniture supplier to solution provider for IT-supported mailroom solutions. "Together with Matoma GmbH, we were able to transfer our decades of experience in mailroom processes into the corresponding software in an excellent way, so that today a state-of-the-art solution portfolio is available for our customers in Switzerland," says Eric Breitenmoser, Managing Director of Syspost AG, pleased with the completion of this cooperation.
The cooperation between Matoma and Syspost has existed since 2009, when the first projects for the management and recording of physical mail deliveries within corporate headquarters were implemented. Based on pilot projects and the needs of the market, NetLocker was finally developed as a comprehensive software solution for the control of dynamic locker systems and for the complete documentation of mail item processes from the company's mailroom. Mate Jovic, Managing Director of Matoma GmbH, explains: "Now that well-known groups in Switzerland and first customers in Germany have repeatedly relied on the tandem Matoma and Syspost AG, the step of concretizing the partnership through the strategic participation was only logical".
Syspost AG remains active on the market as an independent company. In fact, the new ownership structure has no effect on the customers of the two companies; on the contrary, it is hoped that the service areas will be bundled and the market presence increased.
