Kentucky Derby Celebration on the Water

On Saturday, May 6th, 2017 from 2:00PM to 9:00PM, Pier 6 in Charlestown, MA, invites guests to don their finest derby attire and join them on the outdoor patio for its Maker’s Mark Kentucky Derby Party. For just $20-$35 per person, derby enthusiasts gain entry to the party where they’ll enjoy Southern-inspired light appetizers, derby-inspired specialty cocktails like the Maker Mark Mint julep, and a complimentary photo booth all evening long. Guests are encouraged to break out the pastels and seersucker, and dress in their best derby attire. Awards will be given out for the “Most Dapper” and “Best Hat” at the party. For those who want to stop by for a quick drink or bite to eat throughout the day, Pier 6 will be serving brunch from 11:00AM – 3:30PM and dinner from 5:00PM- 11:00PM. The upstairs restaurant and bar will be open for the public for both brunch and dinner. Guests can enjoy a variety of à la carte derby-themed cuisine and cocktails in honor of the special day, while coverage of the fun-filled festivities is shown on Pier 6’s flat screen TV’s.
