Berlin, 08-09-08 - In the last few years it has always been difficult for social networks to monetize themselves. Most of the time plans to make money out of the network failed due to its users discontent with advertisement and their unwillingness to micropay for extra features. The developments of adblockers or free apps with the same service as seen in facebook are just some of many examples for counteractive measures. Most of the time the user sees the network he's member of as his own property which he doesn't want to be misused by the network's real founder.An often used approach is partnering, the network's utilization for other industry or service companies which aren't just placing ads, but offering the network's user some sort of benefit. This is where studentSN wants to go now to deliver its members with additional value cooperating with externals. There are vast plans to work with universities and their infrastructures to make everyday life a bit more easy for the studentSN community.
Additionally it is intended to make the user a partner himself to involve him with the monetizing process without losing credibility. This brand new micropartnering-system will be given birth to in the next few weeks. As for now studentSN won't give away any further informations so that the social student network might be worth a closer look in the near future.
