US Actors Adds VIP Profile for Costas Mandylor

PHOENIX, Arizona - September 30, 2026 - Costas Mandylor has given American audiences two roles they still quote. He was Officer Kenny Lacos on David E. Kelley's Picket Fences, a four-season CBS lead that earned two Screen Actors Guild ensemble nominations. He was Detective Mark Hoffman in the Saw films, a part that grew from a brief appearance in Saw III into the franchise's central cop across Saw IV, Saw V, Saw VI, Saw 3D, and a return in Saw X. USActors.com has added a VIP profile for the Melbourne-born Australian actor. USActors.com allows actors to list their profiles at no charge. Casting directors who search the directory nationwide can now find that network-lead and franchise career on one page.

He was born Costas Theodosopoulos on September 3, 1965, in Melbourne, to Greek immigrants Louise and taxi driver Yannis Theodosopoulos. He grew up in St Kilda and South Melbourne, played professional soccer in Australia and with Panathinaikos in Greece until shin injuries closed that chapter, and moved to the United States in 1987 to study acting. The professional name comes from his mother's family. In 1991 People named him one of the "50 Most Beautiful People." His younger brother is actor Louis Mandylor. He boxes and trains in Thai kickboxing.

The first feature was Avram, Willem Dafoe's brother, in Triumph of the Spirit (1989). Oliver Stone cast him in The Doors. Universal put him in Mobsters as young Frank Costello. The same year he appeared in Soapdish. The mid-1990s brought John Donovan in Virtuosity opposite Denzel Washington, Lord Shin in Fist of the North Star, Almost Dead, and The Pledge with Jack Nicholson. He played soccer star Charlie Colombo in The Game of Their Lives, then kept a steady feature slate: Beowulf, In Like Flynn with Thomas Jane, Cliffs of Freedom, Cosmic Sin with Bruce Willis, American Trash, Dead Man's Hand, Bloodthirst, and Citizen Vigilante.

Television besides Rome, Wisconsin, included Alphonse Royo on NBC's Players, Monk on Secret Agent Man, Tales from the Crypt, Tomas Mendez on NCIS, Abram Sokolov on NCIS: Los Angeles, Vasili Shirokov on Hawaii Five-0, Fabrizio Stavos on Lethal Weapon, Vice Admiral Demetrius on The Last Ship, and Vince Webb on Major Crimes. Public lists approach 190 acting credits and 11 recorded wins. He stands about 5-foot-9 and is still working-Gunslingers, 12 Warriors, Run, and titles moving through 2026 and 2027.

A production that wants the man who held a Kelley precinct and a horror franchise can pull both from a single VIP listing. The page is at https://usactors.com/listing/costas-mandylor/.

About USActors.com

USActors.com is a nationwide actor directory that casting directors, producers, and filmmakers can use as a practical tool for casting projects across the United States. Talent is organized so a production can search by city, state, metro area, age range, look, experience, union status, and skills, then contact actors directly from their public pages. The same database covers local hires in one market and multi-state searches when a project shoots in more than one city. Actors list their profiles at no charge. Casting directors use the site to find and consider that talent for work nationwide. Web: https://usactors.com. Mandylor listing: https://usactors.com/listing/costas-mandylor/.

US Actors exists so a production can look for people the way it actually shoots: across the map, not only inside one city's usual list. Performers post profiles at no charge-pictures, reels, credits, union card, specs, hometown, how far they will travel, and the skills a breakdown names-and those pages stay public. Casting directors cut the field by metro, age, look, and experience, then write the actor from the listing. The same search handles a single-city day-player and a job that lands in three states. Named actors can be added as VIP profiles so a longer career sits higher in that hunt. Nobody is signed, nobody owes a commission, nobody is exclusive. It is a national casting map: free to stay on, open to use from anywhere in the United States. https://usactors.com
